Ammonium Chloride is White powdered crystals, specific gravity 1.532(17 °C ) easily absords moisture, and forming a cake, soluble in water, and the solubility varies as the temperature increases, sulbimes at 340 °C. It appears little corrosivity.

Ammonium chloride  Application:

1. Ammonium Chloride is mainly used as a nitrogen source in fertilizers.

2. Ammonium chloride is used as a flux in preparing metals to be tin coated, galvanized, or soldered.

3. ammonium chloride is as electrolyte in dry cell batteries.

4. Ammonium chloride is also used in etching in the manufacture of printed circuits, as a fire extinguisher, an explosive in mineral winning and as a curing agent in formaldehyde-based adhesives
